How to make your android phone find it's updates

Dosen’t your Android phone find any updates although you know that there are updates? On some android phones this trick/hack might help. What you do is dial “checkin” with numbers, like on the picture. And supposedly it forces searching for updates. I myself have not been able to try it, but if it works please leave a comment.
