Boston Dynamics Creates A Robot With Both Wheels And Legs

Boston dynamics, known for making robots that are equally awesome and frightening, have created a new robot. This one uses a hybrid solution with legs and wheels.

It seems to me this is a better solution than trying to imitate animal or human locomotion. Despite being in a very early stage this robot is very agile and seems less prone to falling over than Boston Dynamics bipedal robots.
