Iphone 4 liteApple’s Asian suppliers have already started producing the much talked about budget version of Apple’s iPhone. It said sources told Reuters.

According to Reuters sources, it is about an Iphone 4 with a storage capacity of eight gigabytes. The current version of the iPhone 4 was released in June 2010 and comes with either 16 or 32 gigabytes of storage.

Many analytics mean that the budget version could be the key for Apple to increase market share in the world’s emerging markets.

According to Bonnie Chang, an analyst at Yuanta Securities, is one of the most attractive customer segments for Apple right now, users in emerging markets who want to trade up from a more expensive phone with a cheaper smartphone. But the price is a determining factor, and a price of over $ 200 are difficult to affordable for the user group.

– I think that for an 8GB Iphone 4 so it is difficult to push prices to over $ 200. Apple will need to develop a completely new phone with the lower performance of these markets, says Bonnie Chang told Reuters.

In addition to a new budget phone makes rumors claim that Apple’s new iPhone 5 will be launched in late September. Apple’s new iPhone is often called the iPhone 4S because of its supposed similarity to the current iPhone 4. The difference is said to be the iPhone 5 will be equipped with a faster processor, A5, which is also available in the Iphone 2, and an updated camera with 8 megapixels instead of 5.
