This speaker is not only 3D printed for under 100$ but it also projects close to perfectly spherical sound. In other words sound goes all directions.
At normal listening distances, an array of twelve speakers arranged on the faces of a dodecahedron is a very good approximation of a point sound source, and the sound waves it produces are very close to perfectly spherical. A dodecahedron speaker can be a useful tool in acoustics research, and is definitely a fun toy to pull out at parties. They are available commercially, but very expensive. Some people build their own, but the odd compound angles and the high degree of accuracy and precision required in the parts make for challenging work with manual tools. But it’s easy for a 3D printer.
There is even a tutorial on how to build your own (that is if you have access to a 3D printer), you don’t even have to do anything but press “print” because the 3D files necessary are available for download!
Today Anonymous made another fun attack. This time time not for a certain cause, just for the lolz.
You may not realize it, but HP has a feature called ePrint and they even have live demonstrations to test this. There is an HP test center whith a bunch of cameras and printers, then you go on their web-page and you can live print something to a real printer.
As you can guess the guys over at Anon took advantage of this and printed useless crap until HP had to completely shutdown their printers.

Some some dudes decided they wanted to reinvent Tetris, but sine that has been so many time digitaly, the did an analog version. I don’t know if this has ever been done before, but it sure looks fun. Gadgetzz just started a new awesome minecraft server. No rules just guidelines, also just ask for it and you get material. If you want to earn every little block, you are free to do so. We have a nice little city on the top of a floating plattform, and under we have a dark area with zombie pig spawner, for the fun of it. We also put a randomly floating pyramid.
