Nintendo might brick your hacked 3DS system

For those of you that have gotten your hands on a Nintendo 3DS, you now have two choices. Either don’t use a flash card or never update your system. Some poeple report that if nintendo somehow get’s to know you have been using a multi games card or any other type of hack. They will send out a custom firmware update that will (unfortunately) brick your DS.  I don’t actually know wether this is true or not but i guess time will tell. Here is Nintendo’s statement.

“We do not discuss product security details (for obvious reasons), nor can we discuss the details of countermeasures available in the Nintendo 3DS system. Nintendo 3DS has the most up-to-date technology. The security has been designed to protect both the creative works in the software and to protect the Nintendo 3DS hardware system itself.
