At the IFA in berlin a while ago Samsung demonstrated a cool new concept, a camera with 4g and android. Cameras with android aren’t new, but this one actually does a good job. It was very responsive, felt good in your hands and the pictures came out great. (more…)
This looks like something that would come out of a sci fi movie, but then.. The gadgets that do are often the best. The concept is a touchscreen which can physically transform, ejecting buttons or shapes from the screen itself. In this example the technology is used to make a tablet, or smart phones on screen keyboard become a physical one, in a n instant. It seriously is one of the coolest things i’ve seen, and hopefully we will see it on shelves in a few years.
According to the Verge’s Nathan Ingraham, the tactus touchscreen prototype uses microfluidics to accomplish this feat. Beneath the outer surface of the screen, which appears to be a plastic membrane, are channels for a special oil to flow into reservoirs reserved for the keys of your keyboard. When flat, Ingraham says the channels are barely perceptible. Of course, this being a very very early prototype (and a nascent concept in general), the only pattern the screen can form is that of a QWERTY keyboard in landscape orientation. The idea is to someday be able to form multiple patterns in varying orientations, but for now the company is just trying to get the idea off the ground.

If you ever bought a toy you know they come with billions of layers of packaging. Which is not only stupid and annoying but bad for the nature. So here comes a 100% environmentally friendly toy, too bad it looks super lame cause the concept is great!
Designed by Oscar Diaz, they’ll soon be available for about $16 each and will come in four different versions including a tractor, a car, a locomotive, and a firetruck. There’s some assembly required, of course, and all the parts included in each kit were either recycled or are recyclable. So when your kid inevitably outgrows it, you won’t feel so bad about getting rid of them. (more…)
So submerging computers in cooking oil isnt really a new concept. Many people do this for increased cxooling And neither is cooking food on your computer new. I’ve seen videos of people frying eggs on a graphics card without its cooler attached.
But this is somewhat new, some guy submerged his compute, the started playing some really hardcore games while putting down different fries and stuff. Have a look its kind of entertaining!

Everyone i know has trouble getting up from bed in the morning, maybe the snooze button is to easy to push. Maybe its just too cheap to push it? Atleast thats what the “snooze” app thinks, for everytime you push the snooze button you have to pay 25 cents, a small value, but it builds up over time. but dont think the developers take your small change, at the end of the month, the app tells you how much you’ve pledged and makes it easy to donate the pledge to your selected charity.
