The picture really says it all, the solar cells on charge a battery, which can later power the onboard motor. Making it a 100% green electric bike, allowing you to pedal when you want to and then turn on the motor when you feel lazy. Pretty neat.
The battery capacity stores sufficient energy for 70km (43 miles). The solar cells provide 2-25km/day depending on the sun hours.
It goes bewteen 25km/hour – max. 50km/hour (30mph). Which is actually pretty fast
