Earfun Air Wireless Earbuds Review

The EarFun Air’s are the latest earbuds to come out from the company Earfun (Earfün). We previously did a review of their EarFun Free earbuds, so it will be exciting to see how they compare.

The first thing you notice about these earbuds is that they have the extruding stick that wireless earbuds like these are so famous for. What might not be clear from the picture however is that on the EarFun Air it’s a lot smaller than on most types of earbuds like this, for example the ones that Apple make. I think this is a really good thing for two reasons, it looks better when you’re wearing them, and it’s also more comfortable when wearing them. Usually if I was going to buy wireless earbuds I wouldn’t opt for the ones that ‘look like a toothbrush’. But after trying these I have realized that it doesn’t have to be a drawback, at all. They are super comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and they don’t fall out easily. So as far as comfort and looks go I’d say these win out over the EarFun Free’s, as well as most other wireless earbuds with a similar design.

The second thing you notice is that they are incredibly easy to set up an connect to your phone. You just open up the charging case and they will immediately go into pairing mode, no fumbling with how long to press the pairing button.

On to the features.. The EarFun Air’s feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, 7h battery time (extendable to 35+ with charging case), and a charging case that supports wireless qi charging.

That is all well and good, but they feature something rather interesting that their smaller alternative EarFun Free does not. 4 way microphones in each earbud.

Now why would you even want that many microphones? They use these varying sound sources to provide superior noise cancelling. By being able to tell based on which microphone sounds is coming from if a sound it’s picking up is from the environment or if it’s the user speaking. And they do it incredibly well!

Just like their smaller counterpart they feature controls on the earbuds for answering calls, changing songs or volume, etc. They’re remarkably easy to use since it’s done by touch and not actually by pressing a button, which can otherwise be uncomfortable to do when you’re wearing the earbuds.

The most important thing about any headphones or earbuds are of course the sound quality. These days you expect a certain standard from earbuds, they are all supposed to be good. And I have nothing to complain about when it comes to the EarFun Free’s. All mid range and high notes are super clear. The bass could be a bit more punchy. In relation to comfort, price and looks, the sound quality is more than adequate.

You can buy the EarFun Air on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B4QSSPS

Regular sell price is $59.99 but there is a $10 coupon on the product page, so the price is currently $49.99.
