WordsEye ‘Type A Picture’ Tested

We covered Wordseye a while back when it went into beta. For those that don’t know Wordseye is a webapp that can turn text into 3D images. You can type pretty much anything and it will build a scene out of it. Now we’ve had the chance the try it out.

While it’s limited by the words and objects in it’s database it’s still pretty versatile and easy to use. You can even add your own images. I made the above image for the test.

Wordseye is a pretty fun app with a lot of potential. But it evidently has a while to go before it’s even close to perfect. Its vocabulary is fairly limited, you can’t use verbs for example. However new objects and words are added all the time.

Bottom-line, it’s really fun, and it will surely be awesome when it has been developed further.
