I usually dont have anything against Microsoft, but this story i read about a guy winning a windows phone, yet was disqualified “just beacuse” made me quite mad. I would have been very angry if this happened to me, have a look! (more…)
This would make any sane person feel weird about Microsoft, heres how they forced the for 6 years leading swedish Windows Mobile forum to close down, after offering money to help them. Why? Because the page admin used an iphone on his private time. Wtf…
After 6 years as the no 1 leading Windows Phone site in Sweden, winMobile.se is hereby closing the store. Why? Keep reading and I’ll tell you all about it…
We’ve been here since the glory days of WM 2003 giving news on a daily basis, some being world exclusive, such as some phone reviews (ACER/ETEN units) and lets not forget the Spotify story that winMobile.se was all alone publishing for over 3 whole months!!
During all those years, I’ve been trying to combine a “real job”, family, house, and spare time and still deliver Windows Phone news to my readers, on the expense on my free time and wallet…
So, why do I close down then? Well, to make a long story short, for over 2 years I’ve been having a dialouge together with Microsoft regarding rebuilding the site in order to make it even more appealing so it could attract even greater interest in their mobile OS.
After going through 3 different contact persons, Anders Wedahl came into place, and it looked like we finally we’re on the verge of hitting the finish line. We were supposed to meet up for lunch to go through some of the details, but just before that, I get an email that made me laugh first, until when I met him in person and understood that he wasn’t joking, but was rather death serious. I’ll post the original email ranslated below. (more…)

Basically, Dropbox is a web based file hosting service which uses cloud computing to allow its users to not only store but to share their files and folders with however they wish too using the internet. There is also a paid model for those who wish to get even more storage and are willing to pay for it. Dropbox has many client softwares for majority of platforms including mobile ones like Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7. Kinect has been getting a kot of hacks since it’s release, and guess what so has windows phone 7, so this was bound to happen sooner or later. What the hacker is aiming towards is controlling games and apps with the kinect sensor. What he did was hook the phone as well as the kinect to an Amadillo 500 FX DP and used some open framwork to interpret the signals, but at the point it dosen’t do much more than show the video stream.
Sony will (for now) not be making a playstation phone, however they have something a lot better to tell us untill the ps phone is announced. It’s called Playstation Suite, and what it will do is emulate psp games on different mobile plattforms. Hinting again at android, but if luck is with us maybe iphone and windows phone 7 is in the game. Still i think this is going to be awesome, considering the gaming market for Android isn’t exactly large.
what i’m thinking now is how long it wil take to hack this service for free psp games on all phones
