Augumented reality glasses, read text messages, google things, watch the news. All without even lifting your hands. Sounds pretty sci fi to me, in other words awesome. The VideoLAN Association, which publishes the free media player world famous VLC, just send a referral for an opinion to Hadopi . This weekend will IPL4 take place in Las Vegas from April 6 to April 8. We can expect to see 140 of the best StarCraft players compete for a prize pool of 100,000$. IPL4 will be hosted at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. IPL4 will also bring us some of the best League of Legends teams. And GOMTV’s Global StarCraft Team League Finals.
We will be able to see world players as MarineKing, MMA, MC, White-ra, Stephano and Nestea! Play it out in the group stages. We can also see well known names in the open bracket like HuK, JYP, SaSe, PartinG, DeMuslim, Jinro, MVP, DIMAGA, ViOLet, Ret and Leenock.
IPL4 will take place over 3 days with 1v1, Open Bracket, Group Play, and Double Elimination. The first day will we be able to see Open Bracket and some Group Play. Day 2 will give us the end in the group play and the open bracket. When we at last go over to day 3 there the 8 best players from day 1 and 2 will play compete for the prize pool of 100,000$.

Almost ten years after Munich’s Linux project started, they are now begining to report positive figures. The mayor reported to the City that the project has meant a saving of around 4 million €.
It was in 2003 that Germany’s third largest city, Munich kicked off a project with the goal to the municipality all PC workstations would use Linux and open source. It was about 14 000 computers that would use a Linux-based operating system and the Microsoft Office would be replaced with OpenOffice.
The project appeared to be more difficult to implement than was originally thought and it is not until later this year as it should be fully implemented. In its report to the City writes Mayor Christian Ude writes that one can already see positive results in terms of cost, four million euro, to be precise.
And then it’s all about savings during last financial year. The estimate is based on the municipality to avoid paying 15 million for Windows licenses and an additional 2.8 million within the next few years for upgrades.
The choice of Linux also means that the municipality could continue to run some older computers as this OS is not as resource intensive as Windows 7.
