Everyone i know has trouble getting up from bed in the morning, maybe the snooze button is to easy to push. Maybe its just too cheap to push it? Atleast thats what the “snooze” app thinks, for everytime you push the snooze button you have to pay 25 cents, a small value, but it builds up over time. but dont think the developers take your small change, at the end of the month, the app tells you how much you’ve pledged and makes it easy to donate the pledge to your selected charity. The Hexbug gadgets, they are all over airports and gadget shops all over the world. Chances are you’ve seen one but never thought much of it. And there isnt much to think of them, they are fun toys.
Ive just received the new spider edition, and its fun. Great for a gift, it leaves you amazed a few minutes, while it still gives something to play with for hours when bored.

Right now the entertainment and software selling industry is a dying place, at-least for the good old guys. Piracy is bigger then ever, and it actually does pay to pirate a piece of software or a movie. With Spotify and Grooveshark the music industry has been blessed, but why isn’t the rest of the industry following?

Making delirious dictators worldwide quake in their boots, the Tails Project recently announced numerous improvements to its anonymity-obsessed Linux distro, The Amnesic Incognito Live System, aka Tails. Now in version 0.7, Tails is the spiritual successor of the well-known Incognito Live System and is developed with the support of the Tor Project, an onion routing project originally developed to protect US military communications. The live distro, which runs on any PC powerful enough to run Windows XP, is based on Debian Live and runs directly from CD and/or USB Flash memory. No trace is left after using Tails, thanks to many features, such as independent operation of all software and all hardware drivers from the PC’s operating system, no permanent data storage and all the channeling of all Internet connections through the Tor anonymization network. “With Tails”, say the distro developers, “we provide a tongue and a pen protected by state-of-the-art cryptography to guarantee…basic human rights and allow journalists worldwide to work and communicate freely and without fear of reprisal.” The journalists of these pages humbly salute the valiant effort.

Basically, Dropbox is a web based file hosting service which uses cloud computing to allow its users to not only store but to share their files and folders with however they wish too using the internet. All files uploaded to Dropbox accounts are kept in perfect sync. By default on signing up you are given 2GB of free storage which you can use to store your files and folders. A referral based program can give you as much as 8GB of free storage if you get enough people to join. There is also a paid model for those who wish to get even more storage and are willing to pay for it. Dropbox has many client softwares for majority of platforms including mobile ones like Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7. The company was launched back in 2007 and has achieved immeasurable success in a short span of four years. (more…)
