The man behind the Mac, Iphone and Ipod is dead.
Apple’s founder and father of four Steve Jobs, died last night from cancer.
He became not more than 56 years old.
His last wish was to see the new iphone get announced, and so he did.

Apple just announced their new iphone, and just like expected it wasn’t an iphone 5 but an iphone 4′s. We where quite disappointed, kind of like with the iphone 3gs. But it holds quite some surprises so go check out the full covergae. (more…)
We’ve got two news for you today, first off Apple plans to have a press meeting next week. The invitation said no more than “Let’s talk iphone” so as you probably guessed they might announce a new iphone. We are very exited to see what they can add besides more performance.
About the ipod classic we may be getting a clue as to what fate the PMP may soon meet. The folks over at AppleInsider discovered that the link to iPod Click Wheel Games no longer appears on the App Store drop-down menu in iTunes. Since 2006, the folks in in Cupertino have been offering added entertainment for the popular mobile jukebox for $7.49 each, but only about 50 titles were available for purchase — it’s kind of hard to develop software when a third-party kit wasn’t publicly released. So if you’re planning on hanging onto your iPod classic for a little while, we hope you’re content to keep playing Vortex, Klondike or whatever else you’ve already downloaded.
Apple has just made its second-generation iPad official! It features a 1GHz dual-core A5 chip and, finally, cameras, both on the front and rear. The new CPU is said to be up to twice as fast, with graphics performance up to nine times better than on the original iPad, while power requirements have been kept the same. Battery life is, consequently, unaltered, with Apple promising 10 hours. Pricing, too, has been left unchanged, starting at $499 for a 16GB WiFi-only iPad 2 and stretching up to $829 for a WiFi + 3G SKU with 64GB of storage. But what’s funny is the new smart covers that basically are like the ipad case for the first ipad, but only half of it and you connect it to the side of the ipad to form a clamshell like cover. It’s something many children have begged their parents for. Now, one Tennessee private school is requiring all fourth through 12th grade students to have an Apple i-Pad for classes next year.
A constant need for more technology is the reason the Webb School is implementing a mandatory i-Pad program. Any student who doesn’t already have their own i-Pad can lease one for approximately $20 a month.
Senior Andy Pope is already using his i-Pad for school.
“One of the cool things is like you can go to the Weather Channel app and switch it in Spanish, so you can see what the weather is in Spanish,” said Pope. “There is such a big library of different things you can do.”
School officials say websites such as Facebook and Twitter will be blocked on campus.
