GSL Season 3 Is now in progress and next week will be the Code S group stage start. It looks like its going to be one of the most stacked Code S ever. Two weeks ago the Up and down’s was played and we ended up with some surprises but also some great performances from some players. The players who made it out of the Up and Down’s was Nestea, GhostKing, Curious, Maru, Ryung, Line, MC, Seed, AcE and MarineKing. Some of the surprises was that players like MMA, Bomber, Alive and Polt didn’t make it out of there groups.
This Season there where two seeded players and Thorzain and Violet where the two chosen players. Two very good players that recently performed very good. Thorzain recently won Dreamhack EIZO open in Stockholm and also right after that got picked up by Team Evil Geniuses. Violet has also done some amazing performances under 2012 with the latest to win MLG spring arena 2.

Google, you never cease to amaze, first self driving street view cars, now you want to strap google streetview cameras to people?
They work hooked up to an Android phone, and apparently Google want you to rent them..
The Trekker has 15 5-megapixel cameras and weighs 35 pounds, and its battery lasts “all day.” They’re prototypes only for now.
This looks like something that would come out of a sci fi movie, but then.. The gadgets that do are often the best. The concept is a touchscreen which can physically transform, ejecting buttons or shapes from the screen itself. In this example the technology is used to make a tablet, or smart phones on screen keyboard become a physical one, in a n instant. It seriously is one of the coolest things i’ve seen, and hopefully we will see it on shelves in a few years.
According to the Verge’s Nathan Ingraham, the tactus touchscreen prototype uses microfluidics to accomplish this feat. Beneath the outer surface of the screen, which appears to be a plastic membrane, are channels for a special oil to flow into reservoirs reserved for the keys of your keyboard. When flat, Ingraham says the channels are barely perceptible. Of course, this being a very very early prototype (and a nascent concept in general), the only pattern the screen can form is that of a QWERTY keyboard in landscape orientation. The idea is to someday be able to form multiple patterns in varying orientations, but for now the company is just trying to get the idea off the ground.
